Chattahoochee’s Sergeant Dixon stated that each time the juvenile would see a patrol unit enter the apartment complex, he would flee on foot, making it difficult for law enforcement to apprehend him.

During the January 6 search, however, Chattahoochee police report that they were able to locate the teen, who was found sleeping in a rear bedroom of the apartment.

The juvenile was residing with an adult female, identified as Shambrielle Arnold, 27, of Chattahoochee.

As a result of the search, police state that Arnold was also arrested and transported to the Gadsden County Jail on the charge of harboring a fugitive and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

The police department says that they have previously arrested the juvenile several times, and the teen has an active trespass warning issued against him for the Flint Garden Apartment Complex.

According to Sergeant Dixon, it is unclear to the police department how the juvenile keeps returning to Chattahoochee from Monticello, as the teen has no known relatives living at the apartment complex.

After the search, police say the juvenile was transported to the Juvenile Assessment Center in Leon County for the outstanding warrants and was additionally charged with trespass after warning.
