UF/IFAS Garden and Farm Family Fall Festival
Celebrate Fall at UF/IFAS! The UF/IFAS North Florida Research and Education Center in Quincy, FL is once again hosting the Garden & Farm Family Fall Festival, Saturday October 11, from 9:00am to 2:00pm. Quincy Main Street and the Quincy Music Theatre will be on hand promoting our organizations and the Quincy History, Mystery, and Ghost Tour.
There will be live performances, farm tours, local vendors, a fall plant sale extravaganza, and local and state organizations. Plus hand-on science activities and a Kids Fun Zone with multiple activities for the little ones, a petting zoo, and Free pumpkins!
This is a Free Event and everyone is welcome! Stop by the QMS and QMT table and say “Hello.”

Farm Credit of Northwest Florida announces the 2026 AgVocator Scholarship Program
Farm Credit of Northwest Florida recently announced the opening of its 2026 AgVocator Scholarship Program, reaffirming its commitment to investing in the future of agriculture and rural communities in Northwest Florida.
This year, one exceptional student will be awarded a scholarship of up to $20,000 to support their academic journey. Eligible applicants include high school seniors, college freshmen, and sophomores who demonstrate academic excellence, leadership, and a strong dedication to serving rural communities.
In addition to the top award, two additional finalists will each receive a $2,000 scholarship.
The application period is now open and will close on January 31, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. EST.
