Charles Larry Strange

Charles Larry Strange, 69, of Havana, Florida, passed away on May 1, 2026 after a brief battle with cancer. He was born in Quincy, Florida on May 14, 1956, to the late Charles Hubert and Fannie Marsili Strange.

A lifelong resident of Concord, Florida, Larry was a professionally trained mechanic and a third-generation farmer. He was happiest farming the same land his father and grandfather farmed and was never one to sit still. He took great pride in every stage of the farming, from planting, watching the weather, to harvesting. More than anything, he was proud of what he accomplished farming.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Marcella Ann Strange; and his brother, Samuel “Sammy” George Strange. He is survived by many relatives and friends and will be missed.

The family expresses their thanks to Dr. Ileana Popa, Big Bend Hospice, Pastor Brant Copeland, and Bertha Hall for their care and support.

A private family service is being planned at this time.

Faith Funeral Home of Havana, Fl. is in charge of the funeral arrangements (850.539.4300 or www.faithfuneralhome.com)
