CITY OF MIDWAY FLORIDA REQUEST FOR ARCHITECTURAL SERVICES
The City of Midway hereby requests proposals from qualified individuals or firms to provide architectural services for a proposed Police Department Facility. Architectural services will include preliminary design, project design, project inspection, construction contract administration, and related services. The project will be funded with a $750,000.00 grant from the USDA Rural Development, Community Facilities Program. Proposals will be considered on an equal competitive basis, using the following criteria: (1) Successful Architectural experience Max. 30 points; (2) Proposed approach Max. 25 points; (3) Architectural experience with rural communities Max. 25 points; (4) Qualifications of project staffing Max. 15 points; (5) Ability to stay within the project budget Fee Max. 5 points. Submittal responses shall be provided electronically via DemandStar at: https://www.demandstar.com/app/buyers/bids/456746 in Adobe PDF electronic format. Submittals must be received via DemandStar no later than Monday, May 27, 2024, at 2:00 pm. No proposal will be accepted after the established deadline. The City will not be responsible for any delays related to the electronic submission of proposals.
The architectural services contract will be subject to grant award and release of funds by the funding agency. In accordance with Chapter 287.133(2)(a), Florida Statutes, a person or affiliate who has been placed on the convicted vendor list following a conviction for a public entity crime may not submit a proposal.
