Chipola College to celebrate homecoming 2026 and America’s 250th Birthday

Chipola College will host Homecoming 2026 on Saturday, February 7, with celebrations that also commemorate America’s 250th birthday.

The day will begin with the 4th Annual Chipola 5K, starting at 8 a.m. Registration opens at 6:30 a.m. on campus. Students are invited to participate with a complimentary entry option, though t-shirts are not included. Registration is available at www.chipola.edu/chipola5k.

New this year, the Homecoming Tailgate Party will take place from 3 to 5 p.m., featuring live music, food trucks, games, and free birthday cake. The event is hosted by the Student Government Association, the Homecoming Committee, and Marketing & Media.

Homecoming will continue at The Milt with basketball games against Northwest Florida State. The women’s game begins at 5:15 p.m., including a Veterans Recognition at halftime. The men’s game starts at 7:30 p.m., featuring the presentation of the 2026 Homecoming Court.

Alumni and Veterans are encouraged to participate in the Veterans Recognition.
