On Thursday, November 2, 2023, the Gadsden County Board of County Commissioners hosted a non-profit fundraising G-200 Bicentennial Gala at Havana Springs Resort.
The event began with a reception at 6 p.m. followed by the gala at 7 p.m., which was emceed by
Gadsden County Chief of Staff Charles Hayes.
During the gala, there was a program followed which included historical testimonies and also a historical video tribute to Gadsden County. This event brought out citizens, and community leaders from all over the county.
In addition to lessons on the history of Gadsden County, attendees also enjoyed drinks, food, and fun, to include a full meal and live music.
The event was sponsored by Waste Pro, AE Engineering, Inc., and Hampton Inn & Suites. All proceeds from this event will go to Quincy Main Street.
