A new community initiative focused on collaboration and shared progress is set to launch with a public event later this week on the Gadsden County Courthouse lawn.
The Go Forward Gadsden Committee will host its inaugural Community Celebration on Thursday, March 26, at 6 p.m. The event is designed to highlight the role of young people in the county and to introduce the initiative’s broader goals centered on community development and engagement.
Organizers say the event will focus on recognizing youth in Gadsden County as emerging leaders and contributors to the community’s future. The celebration is planned as a family-oriented gathering that encourages residents to come together and support positive opportunities for young people.
Activities will include free food, live entertainment featuring local performers, and opportunities for residents to connect with others involved in the initiative.
According to the committee, Go Forward Gadsden is a coalition of residents working to promote public safety, education, economic opportunity, and overall quality of life in the county. The group aims to encourage cooperation among community members, organizations, and stakeholders in efforts to support long-term growth and development.
Community members interested in supporting or partnering with Go Forward Gadsden can contact Chaplain Salters at 850-443-8020 for additional information.
The event is open to the public.
