Goodness grows in Sneads

The Sneads Police Department is “cracking down” on drab, dull flora in its own backyard. Under the direction of Sneads Town Council President Helen Grice, town officials joined Sneads Garden Club  members this past week in beautifying the landscape surrounding the Sneads Police Department headquarters. Thanks to their efforts, colorful blooms and rich plant life have taken over the spaces once occupied by bare earth. “We really appreciate our Town of Sneads Garden Club and the wonderful work they do in our town,” Sneads Town Manager Lynda Bell said. “The front of the police department got a well needed “green” facelift!” Check out additional photos of the garden club and council members dressing up the police department in its vibrant new spring duds in the gallery below. Has your local group or club performed “wonderful work” in the community? Church groups, civic clubs, school classes, even a small assembly of friends or neighbors – we want to share your good deeds with our readers!
