The Havana Garden Club has selected its June Yards of the Month, recognizing one residential and one commercial property for their exceptional landscaping.
This month’s Residential Yard of the Month award goes to Scott and Elizabeth Angulo at 102 Greenway Drive. The couple was nominated by a neighbor who admired their year-long effort to completely renovate their landscaping. Their immaculate yard features a vibrant array of roses, petunias, daylilies, golden obelia, and daisies, creating a colorful and well-kept outdoor space.
The Commercial Yard of the Month honor goes once again to Faith Funeral Home, located at 6972 FL-GA Highway and owned by Scott and Edna Whitehead. The property, a past winner, is known for its seasonal beauty. This time of year, it’s the old-fashioned yellow daylilies, planted by Scott Whitehead, that steal the show.
The Yard of the Month Committee will be scouting again the last week in June. Residents are encouraged to spruce up their yards for a chance to be recognized next month.
