The Town of Havana will celebrate the opening of its new Public Safety Complex with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 11, at 134 Seventh Ave. E.
The multi-million-dollar facility will become the new home of the Havana Police Department and Havana Fire Department, bringing both agencies together under one roof.
In addition to housing both departments, the new complex includes dedicated office space and meeting areas for firefighters, creating opportunities for the police and fire departments to work together more efficiently.
The project also expands the town’s public safety technology. New cameras installed throughout Havana will be monitored from an upgraded dispatch center inside the facility, providing officers with enhanced capabilities to support public safety operations.
The grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony is open to the public. The event begins at 11 a.m. Saturday at the new Public Safety Complex, 134 Seventh Ave. E., Havana.
