History Flashback: 1976

You grab a line, I’ll grab a pole…

On a sunny North Florida morning in 1976, three unidentified individuals enjoy a boating trip at nearby Three Rivers State Park. Though it sustained significant tree loss and some structural damage to park facilities during Hurricane Michael, Three Rivers is open to visitors – anglers, hikers, birders, campers, bikers and anyone who enjoys natural settings. Built around the convergence of the Flint, Chattahoochee and Apalachicola rivers, the park is home to pristine habitats, including countless native plant and wildlife species – many rare and endangered.
