As part of its ongoing bicentennial celebrations, Gadsden County sponsored a Rhythm and Blues concert at Tanyard Creek Park on Saturday, March 16.
The gates opened at 2 p.m., with the first live performances beginning at 3:30 p.m.
The concert featured live performances from artists Lacee, Mr. Smoke, Tweet, Jeter Jones, and DJ Trucker.
The Tanyard Creek Amphitheatre quickly filled with a large, energetic crowd.
Most attendees brought lawn chairs or blankets with them to sit on and enjoy the show.
A number of vendors also set up tables offering food, jewelry, coloring books, and other wares, including Keshia’s Kitchen, Joe Joe’s Daiquiris, KG Scoop-a-licious Ice Cream, Kubby Kub’s BBQ, and Leola’s Crab Shack.
This event was free of charge and open to the general public.
