Havana Garden Club’s October Yard of the Month honors have been awarded to local residents and businesses whose landscaping efforts are brightening up the community.
The residential Yard of the Month goes to Tom and Sharon Johnson of 909 First Street for their beautiful display of yellow lantana. Although the Johnsons have only lived in their home for a few years, their yard already looks well established and carefully maintained.
The commercial Yard of the Month is awarded to Patsy Harrell Realty, located at 105 N. Main Street, where vibrant blue plumbago plants are currently in full bloom. David Kirkland with Florida Farm Bureau was also recognized for helping to keep the flowers watered and thriving.
