The City of Chattahoochee is inviting residents and visitors to celebrate the nation’s 250th birthday with an evening of live entertainment, family activities and fireworks on Independence Day.
The celebration will be held Saturday, July 4, at River Landing, 269 River Landing Road. Festivities begin at 4 p.m.
The event will feature live music by Ghee & Company, DJ Kit Reagan and Debo Sounds. Free face painting will also be available for children, provided by Ashley of Ash Paints.
In addition to live entertainment, attendees can enjoy food vendors offering items for purchase, family-friendly activities and opportunities for community fellowship.
The celebration will conclude with a fireworks show honoring America’s Semiquincentennial, marking the nation’s 250th anniversary.
City officials encourage attendees to bring lawn chairs, towels and drinks to stay comfortable throughout the evening. Fans are also recommended as families gather outdoors for the celebration.
The event is open to all ages.
