The Havana Garden Club has selected its July Yard of the Month recipients, recognizing one residential property and one commercial landscape for their beauty and upkeep.

The Residential Yard of the Month was awarded to Ann Petronis of 508 Live Oak Lane. The property features numerous decorative pots overflowing with ferns and colorful flowers, creating an attractive and well-maintained landscape.

The Commercial Yard of the Month honors went to the Havana Golf and Country Club, 102 Country Club Drive. According to the Havana Garden Club, the club’s landscaping was installed several years ago after the Ladies Golf Association, under the leadership of Cindy Rawls, raised funds for the project. Members of the association continue to maintain the landscaping, where mature Knock Out roses now provide a vibrant display of color.
