Calling all men: Bear Creek Bethel hosts 3rd Annual 100 Men in Black fellowship

Gadsden County News ServiceCalling all men to attend the third annual 100 Men in Black Fellowship at Bear Creek Bethel Missionary Baptist Church on Sunday, June 8, 2025, at 3 p.m. The event will take place at the church, located at 3476 Old Federal Road.
This year’s guest speaker is Pastor Willie Manning of Springhill Missionary Baptist Church in Tallahassee. Manning’s ministry is rooted in 1 Corinthians 2:4-5: “My message and my preaching were not with wise and persuasive words, but with a demonstration of the Spirit’s power, so that your faith might not rest on human wisdom, but on God’s power.”
Rev. Terrence D. Milton, Pastor of Bear Creek Bethel — “The Creek” — said the fellowship aims to ignite a spiritual awakening among men, calling them to stand boldly in faith, lead their families with integrity, and serve as mentors to the next generation.
“Our goal is to empower men to walk in their divine purpose — to be Apostles in their homes, pillars in their Photo communities, and ambassadors for Christ in a world that needs healing,” Milton said. “When men rise up under God’s guidance, families are restored, youth are redirected, and entire communities are transformed.”
Inspired by Psalm 133, Milton added, “Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity… like the precious ointment upon the head, that ran down upon the beard, even Aaron’s beard.”
The service is open to the public — both men and women are welcome to attend. While last year’s event fell just short of reaching its goal of 100 men in attendance, the church has high hopes of surpassing that milestone this year.
The 100 Men in Black Fellowship is part of Bear Creek’s ongoing mission to strengthen families and foster a spiritually grounded, unified community. The church remains committed to being “A Caring Church for Changing Times,” uplifting the community through faith, love and service.
