Carter-Parramore High Alumni award $25K in scholarships to Gadsden County High grads

The Carter-Parramore High Alumni Scholarship Fund, Inc. awarded scholarships to eight graduates in the Gadsden County High School Class of 2023.

The presentations were made on Wednesday, May 24 during Class Night at the high school gymnasium.

The students who received the awards and the amounts they received, are as followed: Brian Ward ($2,500), Chloe’ Lee ($5,000), Juanita Forehand ($2,500), Aaliyah McKinnon ($2,500), High School Counselor JaLia Randolph, Christian Alexander ($2,500), Micah Ward ($5,000), and Ja’Myla Stanley ($2,500) and Khanye Robinson ($2,500).

M. Ward and Lee received STEM Scholarships set at $5,000 each.

Each of the recipients will attend a 4-year university in the Fall.

The list includes Alabama Agricultural & Mechanical University, Bethune-Cookman University, Florida Agricultural & Mechanical University, and Florida State.
