The St. Francis Wildlife Association is always here to help the Quincy community and surrounding North Florida areas when a wild animal is in need of help and rescuing. Now, the tables are turned, and the St. Francis Wildlife Association needs the help and support of the community to step up and donate items such as iPads, trail cameras, new digital scales, laptops, and digital cameras.
Today’s technology plays a significant role in how facilities such as the St. Francis Wildlife Association functions with daily operations. iPads are needed for the wildlife facilities intake, trail cameras will help monitor the patients, and digital scales are needed to properly weigh the animals.
The mission of the St. Francis Wildlife Association is to conserve North Florida’s native wildlife by rescuing and rehabilitating sick, injured, and orphaned wildlife animals. The facility also understands the importance of educating the public about wildlife conservation and the protection of the animals’ natural habitats. The program is important because it teaches the public to be compassionate and what a difference they can make for all the beautiful and amazing creatures in their wildlife community.
