Big Bend Rodeo expected to kick up the dust this month – Gadsden County Horsemen’s Association to present its 5th annual Rodeo at their arena.

What’s up Quincy and surrounding areas?

Are y’all ready for a boot scootin’ good time?

Grab your best hat, shine up those boots, and wash those favorite blue jeans because the Big Bend Rodeo will be back in town on August 25 and 26!

The event starts at 8 p.m. on both scheduled days for that weekend.

If a horse is your favorite means of transportation Quincy is the place to be.

Is there anything better than spending a weekend than at the local rodeo cheering on those barrel chasers, bucking bulls, and broncs?

It is also a great opportunity for family time so bring the whole family.

Dogs should be on leashes and with their owners at all times while attending the event. Parents please be cautious and keep children away from the arena fence.

The seating is provided at a safe distance for everyone’s protection because horses and bulls tend to kick at the fencing when bucking.

There will be bareback riding, team roping, barrel racing, steer wrestling, calf roping, breakaway roping, bronc riding, and yes… bull riding too! Tickets are $15 but ages 4 and under get in free.
