Cooperative Extension: 2023 4-H Summer Camp Registration is Now Open

It’s that time of year again to start looking for fun and educational summer camps for your children to attend. The Gadsden County Extension Office has you covered because we have a list of exciting day camps that your children can attend!

Registration for camps is open now through May 1.

Any registrations after May 1st will incur a late fee of $10 per camp, so be sure to register now.

All camps are from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day.

Lunch and snacks are included. 

Marine Biology Camp – $20 (June 6) is for youth ages 8 to 13. There are 16 spots available for this camp. For this camp we will be traveling to Wakulla County to tour the Gulf Specimen Marine Lab and take a tour of Wakulla Springs.

Farm to Fork Camp – $60 (June 13-15) is for youth ages 11 to 18. There are 16 spots available for this camp. The first day of camp will be focused on gardening. We will take a tour of the UF/IFAS North Florida Research and Education Center and learn about how to grow a garden.

The second day of camp will be focused on animal science. We will take a tour of some local farms and learn about meat production. Day three will be focused on tailgate grilling. Each youth will learn grill safety and how to grill food.
