The Town of Sneads and the Outboard Drag Boat Association are back at it! The drag boat races will be held on Saturday August 19th and Sunday the 20th. The gates will open at 8 a.m. in Sneads Park on Lake Seminole and the races are scheduled to start at 10:30a.m. The gate fee is $10.00 per person each per day. Children ages 10 and under get free admission. Food and other vendors such as Xtreme Jumps Bounce House will be set up. There will not only be a bounce house but also waterslides to entertain the attending children. Wristbands to use the bounce house and waterslides can be purchased for $10.00.
It has been a typical hot Florida summer with extreme heat warnings so please be advised to stay hydrated and come prepared accordingly to stay cool and get through the day.
What type of items should one pack for attending and spectating a fun boat racing day? Water bottles, light snacks, hats, sunglasses, sunscreen, and towels may be items to consider especially if you have children.
