Gadsden County High celebrates Top 10

Gadsden County High School announced its Top 10 graduates last week.

The Top 10 ceremony, held for its third consecutive year, highlights students with 10 highest grade point averages in the school’s graduating class.

In order from 1 to 10,Gadsden County High School’s 2022-2023 Top Ten graduates are: Treyvious Copeland, Leeann Ros, Chloe’ Lee, Amanni Skeete, Ikeiah Walker, Micah Ward, Tyler Watson, Zania Squire, Marcayla Gurley and Amiyah Chaffin.

Treyvious Copeland was named Gadsden County High School ‘s 2022-2023 valedictorian after earning a weighted 4.72 grade point average.

The Top 10 reportedly have been offered millions of dollars in scholarships and garnered dozens of college acceptances.

Copeland alone earned nearly $2.8 million in merit scholarship. He was also awarded the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation Scholarship which pays for the entirety of his college education.

Copeland, who was accepted into 32 colleges, says he has decided to take his talents to Florida Agricultural & Mechanical University where he plans to major in pharmacy.
