Gretna’s annual May Day celebration was held on Friday, May 5.
The event was held at the Springfield Multi-Purpose Center, formerly Gretna Elementary School, with gates opening at 5 p.m.
A large stage was set up, and featured performers were Gretna’s own Legacy Band featuring Steve Walden, Carlin Taylor, TK Soul, and Cupid.
This year, Joe Bullard emceed, DJ Ace worked the mixer, and audio was provided by Piston Sound.
Food trucks and other vendors were onsite as well, including Conch City Catering, Champ’s Italian Ice, Nessa’s Southern Cuisine, Top Notch BBQ, Good Az it Getzz, Curry & Company Kiddie Boutique, and others.
The event was hosted by The City of Gretna, in partnership with Gadsden County and Creek Entertainment.
