The enthusiasm was palpable at Hope School this past Friday, as the jubilant cheers and celebratory chants of enthusiastic students echoed from the rafters of the school gymnasium. The Jackson County special needs school held a pep rally in support of their beloved Falcon basketball team, ahead of their Special Olympics matchup this past weekend. By all accounts, the injection of school spirit proved effective, as the Falcons brought home the school’s seventh Florida Special Olympics gold medal in basketball Saturday.
