Florida Highway Patrol troopers responded to multiple wrecks on Interstate 10 westbound in Gadsden County on Wednesday, May 17.
According to Florida Highway Patrol, troopers responded to a crash near mile marker 184, just west of the I-10 exit to the city of Midway (U.S. 90), at 3:24 p.m.
A second and separate incident occurred less than 500 feet from the initial wreck. However, troopers say only minor injuries were sustained in the second crash.
Lanes were blocked near the site of the first collision as westbound traffic delayed on I-10 extended back near the Gadsden/Leon County line.
Multiple law enforcement officials responded to the scene.
