‘Jackets bid bittersweet farewell to CES

As with graduation ceremonies across Gadsden County and all over the USA in the past few weeks, Chattahoochee Elementary School’s 2020 fifth grade commencement looked decidedly different from years past. Bound by COVID-19 isolation protocols, the traditional walking procession was replaced by a line of cars, each carrying a graduating Yellow Jacket and family members. Thankfully, all the pomp and circumstance remained intact last week at the local school, as rising sixth grade Yellow Jackets buzzed away from campus for the last time, most of them headed to West Gadsden or other area middle schools. A big congrats to this historic class! Special thanks to Valencia Denson for posting the accompanying photos. View more shots from the big day here.
