Munroe’s Lady Bobcats to host Marianna’s Lady Bulldogs this week – The Bobcats broke a six game losing streak with a win against Poplar Springs last Friday

The Bobcats broke a six game
losing streak with a win against Poplar Springs last Friday.

Munroe’s Lady Bobcats traveled to Monticello, Florida, last Thursday, March 30, to face off with the Aucilla Christian Lady Warriors for the second time this season. They were hoping for a redemption win but ended up bringing home another loss. The opening game of their season was a tough one against the Warriors when they suffered a shutout loss of 0-11.

Last week, they fell at the feet of the Warriors yet again, a shutout loss of 0-10.

While having a bad run this season is not such great news for the Lady Bobcats, do keep in mind they are a very young team and will be more acquainted with the game by the time next season rolls in.

On a happier note, they played Poplar Springs on March 31, the day after their loss to the Warriors, and brought home a shutout win of 16-0.

Nine more games to go and the community is anxious to see how much the Lady Bobcats will improve by the end of the season.

The Marianna Lady Bulldogs will be traveling over to play on the Lady Bobcats home field this week on Thursday, April 6.

The Bobcats have already lost a 0-17 shutout game to the Bulldogs back in March. This week just may be a beast of a game because the Lady Bobcats will be putting up a clawing fight in hopes of a redemption win.

If they claim the game win it would give them three wins for the season thus far.
