Quincy man dies in single-car crash

A Quincy man is dead after a single car crash last week.

According to a press release, Florida Highway Patrol responded to a traffic crash involving a single vehicle with a single occupant on Old Federal Road in Gadsden County on Friday, November 17 around 11 p.m. 

The sedan was traveling south on Old Federal Road in Gadsden County. The report says the vehicle failed to negotiate a curve to the left, leaving the roadway to the right onto the west grass shoulder.

The car overturned, ejecting the driver. The vehicle came to rest on the west grass shoulder of Old Federal Road facing west, while the driver landed just south of the vehicle. The 28-year-old man was pronounced deceased on scene.

Florida Highway Patrol was assisted by Gadsden County Sheriff’s Office and Gadsden County Fire and Rescue.
