Saint Paul’s Episcopal Church invites public to attend Stations of the Cross devotional

Saint Paul’s Episcopal Church is hosting a special Stations of the Cross devotional every Friday evening at 6:30 p.m. during the Lent season, ending on Good Friday (April 7).

The public is invited to attend and participate.

It is ideal to arrive a few minutes early, as the devotional begins at precisely 6:30 p.m

The Stations of the Cross commemorate the sufferings and insults endured by Jesus during the crucifixion, beginning with His being condemned to death and ending with His internment.

Following an introductory prayer in front of the altar, participants walk the fourteen stations of the cross, which are represented in images on the walls inside the church.

At each station, the participants will stop and reflect upon each image, while being led in a brief prayer about the event depicted.

The event lasts about 30 minutes, and seating is available for those who prefer to sit.
