Sneads advances to play off tournament with Crossroad Academy – The Pirates are scheduled to play the Scorpions this week in the FHSAA championship game.

Last week’s FHSAA District Tournament left the Sneads Varsity Boys Basketball Team short of win by six points. The Bozeman Bucks took a 49-44 triumph back home to Panama City and will be preparing to play the Cottondale Hornets this week.

While falling to the Bucks was a disappointment for the Pirates, they are still advancing to another playoff game against the Crossroad Scorpions. This will be the first time the two teams have played each other this year and should be a great challenging game.

It would be a great show of support if the Sneads and Quincy communities show up wearing fan gear and fill the stands in the gym with loud cheers to boost the Pirates and Scorpions confidence while they enjoy playing the sport they love so much.

The Sneads Varsity Lady Pirates had a more challenging season than the boys this time around but still should be proud because they also made it to the FHSAA District Tournament. Unfortunately, they suffered a loss to the Liberty County Bulldogs in the playoff last week with a 26-42 defeat.
