Vengeance Valley, Chattahoochee 1951

Vengeance Vally was showing in 1951 when a photographer photographed downtown Chattachoochee, including the theater where the movie title and its star, Burt Lancaster, were emblazoned across the marquee.
The western film was based on a novel by Luke Short and also stars Robert Walker, Joanne Dru, John Ireland and Sally Forest in a classic tale of good versus evil where two stepbrothers battle for control of their father’s ranch.
