On Tuesday, May 21, 2024, the Gadsden County Sheriff’s Office held its annual Senior Citizens’ Fun Day event at Lake Talquin’s Pat Thomas Park, at 949 Hopkins Landing Rd.
Seniors enjoyed a day of fun activities along with a DJ. Activities included boat rides on the lake, card & board games, and dance contests. Seniors were given gifts and also had chances to win prizes during the raffle.
Seniors were also provided a hearty meal for lunch, including fresh fried fish and fried chicken.
