Chattahoochee celebrates Independence Day at the river

Monday, July 4 saw a large and festive crowd gathered at River Landing Park in Chattahoochee to celebrate Independence Day with live music, food, and fireworks.

A stage was set up in the park, with food and craft vendors nearby.

For the kids, BJ’s Party Factory set up a large inflatable water slide and bounce house.

The celebration began at 2 p.m. with a DJ on stage.

A complimentary shuttle service ran every 20 minutes – starting at the green in front of the Florida State Hospital and ending at the festivities at River Landing Park, giving Chattahoochee locals transportation to and from the event.

Limited parking was also available on-site for those who drove themselves to the festival.

Later in the evening, live music was performed by Billy Dean, and fireworks began after dark.

The event was hosted and organized by Chattahoochee Main Street and the City of Chattahoochee.
