ENACTMENT OF ORDINANCE
Notice is hereby given to all concerned that the Town Council of the Town of Havana, Florida, intends, at a meeting in the Town Hall in Havana, Florida, at 6 o’clock P.M. on the 12th day of September, A.D. 2023, to consider the enactment of the following proposed ordinance entitled:
AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF HAVANA, FLORIDA, ESTABLISHING A TEMPORARY MORATORIUM FOR 180 DAYS RELATED TO THE ISSUANCE OF NEW OCCUPATIONAL LICENSES THAT ARE RELATED TO ACTIVITIES THAT INCLUDE ELECTRONIC SIMULATED GAMING PROMOTIONS OR ELECTRONIC SWEEPSTAKES; EXCEPTING RENEWALS OF EXISTING OCCUPATIONAL LICENSES; PROVIDING FOR PENALTIES; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE
DATE.
Such ordinance may be inspected by the public at the office of the Town Clerk in the Municipal Building in such Town.
Interested parties may appear at the meeting and be heard with respect to the proposed ordinance.
If a person decides to appeal any decision made by the Council with respect to any matter considered at such meeting or hearing, he will need a record of the proceedings, and for such purpose, he may need to insure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based.
