Quincy Blues Brews & BBQ is this Saturday

Stop by the Gadsden County Courthouse Square in downtown Quincy for the second annual Blues Brews & BBQ festival, this Saturday, November 4 from noon until 8 p.m.Johnnie Marshall Blues Band, Jerry Thigpen Trio: Ben Flournoy Trio, and DetroitLive will be performing.

There will be lots of food trucks, craft vendors, and children’s activities.

Brews will be served by Bantam Bay and Company, LR’s Sports Bar, and Monterrey Cigar Social.

The festival is hosted by Quincy Main Street in partnership with Gadsden County to celebrate its Bicentennial birthday.

Twilight Concert Series Returns This Month

The first Twilight Concert of the 2023-24 season is set for Tuesday, November 14, 6 p.m., at the Quincy Garden Center. Music is by singer songwriter Frank Douglas, founding member of the Fried Turkeys. The Tallahassee native writes and sings of love, lust, loss, and politics. His music combines influences ranging from folk to blues, country to rock. The source of many of his lyrics come from the poetry of his 93 year old mother.

Dinner is catered by Bantam Bay and Company, with complimentary beer and wine.
